1. What inspires a name for your candles?

“Our candles are crafted specifically to create a particular experience. The names of our candles are aligned with the experience in which it is designed to create and emotion it is to deliver. We firmly believe that words have the power to give life or invoke death, and we choose to speak life through the intentionality in names of our candles. Each candle is an affirmation that you are in the right place at the right time no matter what the circumstance may look or feel like. Our ultimate mission is to Be The Light and we do that by naming our candles as a reminder that you were created in the image and likeness of God which is altogether lovely.”

2. How do you make sure your candles stand out?

“Abide Candle Co. is a rather unique candle company beginning at its foundation. We are a conversational, faith-based brand. We craft candles, create experiences and uplift our Abiders through exceptional products and services on a consistent basis. What makes us stand out is our ability to stand UP. We stand up for the Abider who needs a word of encouragement or a friend to celebrate with. We stand up for our faith and share the good news with each person we come in contact with. We stand up for what and who we believe in and I know that is the single most unique attribute of our brand.”

3. What’s the vision for growth when it comes to your company?

“Our vision for Abide goes beyond candles. We offer a product that is covered in the service of “service”. It is our pillar value to maintain consistency on all levels while adapting to, without conforming to, an ever changing marketplace. Our vision is to continue to provide exceptional home decor and luxury candles, as well as, foster authentic, genuine connections that enable us to grow and expand for sustainability.”

4. Where would you like to be a year from now?

“One year from now we will expand our market share and increase awareness of our brand visibility to where our product based business and service based ministry are operating in sync in a sustainability profitable and purposeful way.”

5. How has becoming an entrepreneur changed you?

“I am still on the journey of “becoming” an entrepreneur, and as I continue to press toward the mark, I will continue to progressively evolve the way that I relate to others and express myself through my brand. I will accept change as part of the process and embrace it with optimism no matter how smooth or difficult. Change is a constant that goes without saying. Change on its own isn’t as important as our attitude towards it. How we adapt and evolve from the things, places, people, concepts etc. that are changing around us is where true character is built. While on the subject of change, I will say this, change hits differently when you are blazing a trail of your own rather than following an already paved one.”
