Learning to be Patient
What do you do while you wait? What do you think about while waiting for everything to happen for you? Are you anxious, sad, frustrated, annoyed, or just tired?
- Hebrews 10:36 AMP says "For you have need of patient endurance (to bear under difficult circumstances without compromising), so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised."
- God does NOT work on your time. He doesn't have a magic wand to wave when you have a request. Patience really boils down to what you believe. In the period of waiting, are you going to start to doubt the outcome or prepare for what's to come?
- Verse 36 says that you must endure circumstances to enjoy what is promised. God has blessings that are meant for you, but he never said that there wouldn't be trials & tribulations to go through. Carrying out the will of God has to be bigger than your own agenda. In simpler terms, you must give to receive.
-If you feel that what God is taking you through is too much too bear, ask for strength and guidance. You're never going through the storm alone.
