FMR asks that you share, support, & shop with this amazing business! Here’s a feature you’re sure to enjoy!

1. Why did you start photography?

"I started photography because when I was in high school my teacher would have me practice photography even though I was in graphic design and I enjoyed it a lot so I wanted to do something that I loved. I also realized I don’t like working for other people or having to answer to someone or do things in a way that other people preferred it done therefore all this voice been on edge about possibly failing because I don’t exactly like to fail even though I know with all your comes growth I’d rather grow and work on my own company rather than at a place where my utilization has a cap. I left photography I love nature my love life‘s photography I left on product photography I love everything so being able to catch your things that people actually need and put my own creative style going to it and people to come to me because they love the way that I do something makes me feel really good and I really enjoy it."

2. Do you think business takes more passion or more knowledge?

"Honestly I believe that they’re equal because you can have a passion with no knowledge and without knowledge you can only go so far, for example if I know how to do photos which this is a true example but I don’t know the business aspect of it it could take me 4 to5 years to learn more and more stuff when I could’ve went to certain classes or got a mentor which I mentor in my opinion is better because they’re not teaching stuff that’s required for credits they’re going to teach you the things that you didn’t know the ins and outs and stuff that other people may not know because every one does everything different that’s why sets us all apart. Same thing with knowledge and passion if you have a lot of knowledge but no passion yeah you can do that but for only so long at that point it’s not a business it’s a job because you’re back at that stage where you were working for someone your clients are you working for it’s not for you to enjoy what you’re doing like yeah we’re always working for our clients but if I’m doing it and get to do it how I like with the feedback being people loving what I do versus me just doing something someone wants and trying to execute it perfectly I’m working exclusively for the Personalization a Passion is no wife I don’t care about it and I could’ve just been doing a 9-5, I personally feel like if someone doesn’t have the passion in their business more so in the arts and entertainment parts of business then you can tell from their work even if it’s executed perfectly there’s a sort of creative aspect that’s missing in my opinion."

3. When things didn’t go as planned, how did you progress?

"Well when things didn’t go as planned I would keep trying to make it work and then I would typically get upset keep myself up and I would honestly be down and yeah I’d say I was quitting however two or three weeks later I’m like I can’t quit like I worked so hard and I know I could do it like what if I just try something else and then come up with other ways I will look up other things, I would talk to other people, I do more research or I would try stuff that I haven’t tried to revisit things I have tried and do it a little differently, see why it didn’t work. because my main issue originally was I wasn’t a social media enough or I was dependent on a certain group of people I had the wrong target market pretty much. I had to change my mindset and my focus and when I felt down sure I could give myself a day because if I keep working that day where I’m down I be overweight and then be depressed a lot longer than that day if I just took the break."

4. What’s one characteristic entrepreneurs need now more than ever?

"Definitely diligence because TIMES GET HARD."

5. In what ways have you planned to grow your business?

"I want to have 3 separate divisions to Rosies Portraits: weddings, portraits, travel

I want to have my portrait studio setup for portraits, product photos & and brand photos, I want the travel division to be specified to branding companies all over and capturing lifestyle photos all around the world.

And I want to be able to hire a team of trusted photographers & videographers & editors and have a certain style that sets Rosies Portraits apart from all other wedding photographers. I want us to give a luxury and dreamy look to photos that look expensive but is actually cost efficient for all of our clients."
