1. What’s a positive change you’d like to see this year in the nail industry?
"One positive change I would like to see in the nail industry is nail artist getting credit for their work. Many times you’ll see a celebrity campaign and the nail artist is never tagged or mentioned . We work hours on our craft, any form of acknowledgment would be nice."
2. How does you’re creativity shine in your craft?
"I have always had a flare for the dramatic and I feel like nail designing gives me a freedom to express that. With nails, you can never do too much or too little, there will always be an admirer for any type of nail art. I’ve seen some crazy nails and even if you’re a person that wouldn’t wear them, they can still be appreciated as art."
3. In your opinion, what’s an important factor of business?
"In my opinion an important factor of business is Customer Service. Word of mouth is one of the best marketing tools we have available, even in today’s digital society. Treat your customers right and they will return and bring their friends every time!"
4. How do you use social media to meet new potential customers ?
"I reach most of my potential customers through Instagram. I try to post consistently along with responding to customers and comments as soon as I can. I have found that really helps people feel connected to your page and is the best way to build a community around your brand.
5. What would the perfect opportunity be for your business?
"Gaining access to more funds for marketing— to run ads and pay a marketing team would really help boost my brand."
