You're going to that club looking for someone to take that temporary pain away. You downloaded that app to try and take your mind of her. Your friends tell you it's just one night so what's the harm? You've only got one life to live, right?
Moving on, cutting ties, or letting go is harder than people may think. It's easier when you can detach yourself emotionally, find excitement in someone new and start at square one. In a perfect world all this happens soon after you've REALLY let him/her go.

God knows your heart even better than your friends. When you lean on other people to fix your feelings of sorrow, fill that void, or heal you, you're never going to be satisfied. Ask in sincere prayer that God help you to understand, give you closure if you're truly ready to accept it, and give you peace.
These days it's so easy to overthink and kill yourself with assumptions when all your answers are with God. You'll never truly be able to move on and be ready to "get back out there" if you don't take that step first.

Typically when a breakup has occurred or you've let that special someone go, you'll start to hear how a few of your closest friends felt anyways. Whether you realize it or not, their speaking on your judge of character. Their subliminal shots might miss ole dude and really be directed at your choice in men. GET AWAY FROM THIS PEOPLE! When you're at a fragile state, that's when you need peace and quiet around you mentally. No negative thoughts to dwell on, no wine to have you calling after 12 none of that! Speak confidence over yourself, speak empowerment over yourself, speak love over yourself. These small changes can make a big difference in how you heal from the inside out! If your friends don't understand, oh well.
