When someone says money, where does your mind immediately go to? Do you remember a time you were broke, you spent your last or had to put gas in your car just to go make more money? Most people go to a personal experience because you don't want to go back to that place.
In Part One of The Garden of Wealth, I'll be discussing what money actually is from a spiritual perspective & what God has to do with it.
I respect everyone's religion & spiritual relationship with God so please understand this is just my perspective.
Money is a tool God gives us to accomplish His purposes. You may ask, how much of it is His? Who has control over it? etc.
Psalm 89:11 says "The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them."
We are called to be stewards of what God has given us. A steward is someone who takes care of someone else's possessions.
Luke 12:48 says "Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required."
God is holding us responsible for the decisions we make with his possessions. The money you come across and make day in and day out belongs to God so don't consume yourself in it too much.
