The Meaning of FMR

Fine: of superior or best quality; of high or highest grade

Melanin: any of a class of insoluble pigments, found in all forms of animal life, that account for the dark color of skin, hair, etc

Rose: any of the wild or cultivated, usually prickly-stemmed, pinnate-leaved, showy-flowered shrubs of the genus

When I created this platform, I wanted to establish a page for positive black content. I'm sick of the "angry black woman" narrative. Black women are more than their attitude, demeanor, or any other face value judgement people unfairly come to. We are mothers, creators, sisters, and beautiful roses. Yes, some of us have thorns, but that doesn't diminish our value.

We set the standard for creativity, hustle, authenticity, and beauty. No matter if you sell lashes or do hair. I want to celebrate every part of what makes women especially black women excellent and above average. I'm here to bring notice to your achievements and successes. If you are not a black female, you are just as worthy, beautiful, and amazing. I don't want anyone to feel excluded, but I'm always going to cheer the loudest for my own team.
